Rwanda Crowned Champions as All Together East Africa 2026 Unites the Diaspora

Football did what it always does best this weekend it brought people together. The All Together East Africa 2026 tournament, hosted by the Rwandan Community Zone 4 Gävleborg/Dalarna in partnership with RCA Sweden and Ole Entertainment, turned a single day of matches into a celebration of unity, friendship, and culture for East African communities across Sweden.

Teams representing Rwanda, Somalia, Burundi, and DR Congo took to the pitch, with young players from the diaspora showing off skill, heart, and determination in front of a lively crowd of supporters, families, and community leaders.

The Final

The Final It came down to Rwanda and Somalia in a final that had everyone on their feet. Rwanda edged out a thriller, winning 4–3, to be crowned Champions of the East Africa Unity Cup 2026.

Beyond the scoreline, the day was about something bigger — giving Rwandan and East African youth in the diaspora a space to connect, compete, and belong. Organizers highlighted the tournament as part of an ongoing effort to build sports opportunities for

young people abroad, turning community into team, and team into family. A special thank you goes to every player, coach, community leader, guest, and supporter from the Rwandan, Burundian, Somali, and Congolese communities who showed up and brought the energy that made the event unforgettable.
